How Instagram Influencers and Fashion Bloggers are taking over celebrity fashion and making it their own.

Color combinations have been used in fashion for years, everyone knows the common styles, black and white, navy and tan, pink and green. However, this season black and tan can be spotted on almost every fashion blogger on Instagram. Your favorite influencers can be seen wearing thick gold jewelry, tan paper bag shorts, paired with a white or black tank to match. There have been many different variations of the trend ranging from casual street wear to elegant evening wear. Although, the same aesthetic remains consistent, minimalistic soft beige color tones.

Before this trend made waves in the fashion blogger community, celebrities dominated this style from runways looks to streetwear fashion. Icons like Lauren Conrad and Chrissy Teigen set a trend for the beige minimalist style. Soon after, celebrity fashion became inspiration for social media savvy millennials and gen z., Trends that lived in high society soon became a part of the blogger community. In today’s fashion climate, luxury fashion is no longer explicit to celebrities. Bloggers and influencers have taken over the world's most coveted fashion trends, using social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok to showcase their designer dupes. Thanks to companies like Target, Amazon Fashion, Macy's, Nordstrom, and DSW designer styles are no longer exclusive to the luxury price point.

Here are some of my favorite accounts on Instagram putting their own spin on the minimalist trend.

When creating this look I paired my tan trench coat from Fashion Nova with jean shorts from Garage clothing. Then added a pair of thrifted cat eye sunglasses, and a my favorite Nina heels.

To finish off the look I added a cropped button down shirt from Abercrombie and Fitch, and grabbed my Dolce and Gabbana shopper bag.
